Man awakens from coma and correctly guesses that the Detroit Pistons lost last night
NOVI, MI—After being in a medically induced coma following a horrific snowboarding accident for six weeks, Dan Conroy woke up this morning. After first hugging his parents and girlfriend, he hoarsely said, “The Pistons lost last night didn’t they?” The proclamation stunned the family and medical staff, as the Detroit Pistons did in fact lose to the Miami Heat the previous night falling to 16-27 on the season.
“It makes no sense. How in the world could he have known that kind of information,” asked Dr. Yuvinesh Patel, Dan’s physician. The Conroy family immediately began calling everyone they knew, claiming that Dan had awoken from his coma with superpowers of some kind.
